All eels are quite prone to jumping. Get a secure lid before you get any eel. They may not jump the first week or year, but it can happen at any time. Be fair to the fish and get a lid . Large eels can push up lids too, so when it gets big you'll need weights to keep it down.
Also I hope you know what you're in for with a honeycomb. They get huge and aggressive... At 6' they could probably eat most anything.
