eel yellow head

I got a yellow head eel that I bore 4 days a go I only see this eel the first 2 days is being 2 days that I heaving see it is this normal on this animals I`m worry maybe is dead???

3 day today still not seen the eel and no I only have the yellow head and the banded eel on a 150g tank...............

They will hide til they are hungry enough to come out. Might be a while since he has the banded eel as a snack in there. Yellow heads will eat anything you put in there ( I know, I had one!) They are beautiful, but nasty fish! They will eat other eels too!

I do not think the Banded will last either. It may take a few weeks for him to get comfortable but when that time comes look out.

Cubano are you reffering ti the Yellow headed(Fimbriated eel)? Everyone bashes this eel to death. I have one in a 120 with Large yellow Tang and a medium sided blue chin trigger. He is an awesome eel. I feed him twice a week. The way I look at it as long as he is fed he won't "kill on sight" as many may make you believe. I almost did not get this eel cause everyone said its a fish killer. Yes, keeping this eel involves some risk, but there is risk with most eels, so enjoy it. Mine ate right away, but day 3 he was eatting, shrimp, clams, octo, and silversides. Just give it a mixed diet so he will stay healthy.

thanks a lot guys I just sow my yellow head I feel a lot better now she is fine thanks off god.... I know yellow heads morays are bad but I only want to keep her and to more eels on a 150g.........

Redboxer, How long have you had the eel?? You sound just like I did in the first few months of having a Fim. Then everyother day, fish started dissappearing. I wish you the best and hope your eel doesnt turn Hannibal on you!
