Eel + Zoanthus?

I'm wondering if it would be ok to put zoa's in the same tank with Grendal (my fimbriated moray? I am having issues finding info that shows either one will cause harm to the other.

Thanks in advance for any clues in the right direction.

I had a golden dwarf eel develop a blistering rash when she start living under a rock of zoanthids. She recovered when I moved the coral.

Well that's good to find out. Have you ever tried anything else out in your tank(s)?

I have a SFE that lives inside a rock covered in zoas in my reef tank and seems to be fine

I have a few zoanthid colonies surrounding my zebra moray's cave. So far I haven't seen any negative effects from it, but after reading this thread, I'm going to be sure to keep a close eye on them.

Never had any problems with any corals bothering any of my eels.

Thank you for all of your responses. I am glad to see there are people who have not had any ill effects. I'm in the dark still on even being close to making any real decisions so I'm looking forward to hearing some others personal experiences as well.
