are there any reef safe eels? my smallest fish is my male clown at about 2". I've always loved eels, but never got one due to them not being "reef safe". but to my knowledge all they do is eat little fish? anybody keep any eels in their reefs?

I know a number of people who have a Zebra Moray in their reef. They are pretty shy eels, and arent likely to bother fish. Motile inverts, however, will be sucked down (they love shrimp and sea urchins...).
Snowflakes are often kept in reefs with decent sized fish- same issue with cleaners as with the zebra.
Golden Dwarf Morays are excellent options for a reef. They are safe with all but the smallest of critters
Then there are Garden eels... which are in a league of their own. Cool animals, but with a lot of special requirements.
