Effects of using an old RO membrane?

Can using an old RO membrane have any negative effects on my clown babies?

Not so much the membrane, but if your source water has chloramine or Chlorine, ammonia can be passed through if your GAC prefilter is shot.

The age of the membrane really doesn't tell us anything about its performance. We have customers who have been using the same membrane for 10 years and it is working fine. Assess the membrane's performance.
