Effluent question

I have just put togethor a new calcium reactor and I am trying to decide if it is safe to hook to my aquarium. I've removed my two part doser and have gotten the effluent set to a recommended setting. Right now it is 40bpm of Co2 and roughly 20-30mL per minute if effluent. The Ph is currently between 6.8 and 7. So my question is whether or not this is a safe starting point for my aquarium? Will it have the potential to raise the elements too high at these settings?

Measure your tank alk. 48 hours measure it again. Test the alk of your effluent. If you already don't have one grab a 100 ml graduated cyclinder to get an accurate effluent flow rate. Take all of the numbers you found above and plug them into this calculator. Once you get the calculation adjust your effluent and or Co2 based on the results.

Of course there is a calculator for this. Thank you very much. I had no idea this could be estimated like that.
