can anyone identify these round white things? they seem to come and go, but i have never figured out what they are.

More like Cerith snail eggs to me.

I have Nerites that lay eggs too, they look exactly like that. Cerith snail eggs are tiny and in are layed in a weird pattern.

When my nerites lay the eggs aren't connected like that, they are just strewn around. These look more like cerith to me. But I guess there's diff kinds of each.
