nice doug! i got some clams last week. if they do well, i am not adding another clam. it seems you are right about new clams and what they can do to your tank. is your carpet safe with your fish?....

Definitely good luck with the eggs. What schedule are they on?

lol, lunch?? They will be food for the tank. I have much respect for Kevin but that would be way to much work to raise them.

I try to keep my fish purchases to under $25 per fish. So if they get eaten I am not out that much money. That being said in 3 years I do not think that the 2 carpets have eaten any of my fish. I have had my 2 carpets for 3 plus years.

BTW, if any one sees a red carpet for an affordable price I would be interested.

:lmao: I meant, how often do the clownfish lay? Monthly?

Travis,

Dougs clowns used to lay like mine are. When the eggs hatch they clean up the area and lay again in a few days. I am not sure if this is the same pair. I think maybe one of them is a replacement but Doug will answer that.

I am amazed at how often my clowns lay. I would sort of hope they would take a break but you can't make them stop like you can with birds.
