Electric Ballast

I seen the ARO electric ballast at Hello Lights.Electric will run a lot cooler RIGHT.Will I have to mount the electric ballast in a heat sink box like my magnetics are ? Or can I mount the electrics ballast just the way they are right out of the box?Were does everyone else mount the electric ballast?

I have 2 of those ballast,and i mounted mine to the inside of the stand.They run real cool, and i have no problems for 2+ years.

Electronics dont need ballast boxes or Heatsinks. You can hold your had to them after several hours of operation. Mine are mounted to the wall with some 3/8 washers between them and the wall for spacers. The washers probably aren't needed but its just something I've always done.. It helps with air flow under them and reduces the amount of ballast comes in contact with the wall. HTH
