Hey guys.. I'm getting really close now to being able to start my tank up and running, however I'm at the point now where I want to get everything wired and settled before I pour any water in..
Here's the equipment that requires plugs:
- (2) Tunze 6000 Powerheads
- Tunze 7095 Multicontroller
- Giesemann Nova II 250w MH Pendant
- Aquacontroller Jr.
- Neptune DC8 (8 plug strip for use with Aquacontroller)
- Finnex heater
- Deltec MCE600 skimmer
- Spectrapure Litermeter III
- Grounding probe
So, as far as my resources go:
- (2) GFCI outlet cords
- APC Back UPS 800
- Neptune DC8
So how would you guys wire up this stuff? Do I plug a GFCI into the wall outlet, and then the DC8 into that? Is it as simple as that?
Also, are there any advantages to having one of those american DJ power centers? Seems like I have enough outlets for my needs just from the DC8 alone. However I am unsure if the DC8 is GFCI so that's why I'm asking if I should plug the DC8 into a GFCI outlet which is plugged into the wall.
Thanks for any help
