The Elegance corals are weird like that, like a bubble tip anemone they change the length and girth of their tentacles at will. Nothing to get too worked up over. She'll be right.

Very awesome for you. Unfortunately, I read this thread a couple weeks too late. Lost mine after a month or so, but was right out in the T5 light on the sand. Sounds like if I try gain, she goes in the shade first. Super happy for you.

sorry to hear that mate. all seems fine at the mo ,i cant really see the ec in all its glory where it is but id rather that than have it die on me. just have to take it real slow it seems even the slightest change in light seems to have an effect on it. i tried a few locations before i settled for right in one of my caves it only gets light that is reflected from the sand but is doing well

yes im getting used to it making these changes and am happy now the swelling has stopped.

just thought i would show where i have put the ec. does anyone see any issues with placement

little update for anyone interested,moved the ec out slightly into the light. have had a few days of swelling (not good) but have let it be and it has settled in with no swelling for the last week so hopfully itll be ok
