Morning Guys and Gals,
Had a friend give me this coral this weekend, Looks like a indo elegance , not a Aussie, But figured id ask , ive looked a quite a few threads on elegance corals on RC and they all say the Indo is one of the hargest to keep, just wondering what i can do to keep this coral happy and thriving in my tank, History on the coral, it was in his tank for 2+ years under the edge of rockwork in a 110 with 2 250w halides, he did not feed it directly, My tank is a 220 , ive got it wedged between 2 rocks almost on the sandbed, my tank is lit with 3 taotronics 120 led black boxes, its already opened more in my tank in 24 hrs than it was in his. Any words of wisdom on making and keeping this coral happy?
Size wise its about a foot long by 6" deep at the moment and still expanding.
Sorry about the pic, this is right when my actinics cut on this morning.
