Elegance Question

If a fish were to nibble off the tips of an Elegance coral, will they grow back eventually, or will the little pink ends be gone forever?

Assuming it doesnt cause an infection that leads to the whole coral self-destructing (a good possibility), they can grow back.

Great, that's a huge relief. I fed my Elegance some mysis, and the emperor angel in my tank decided he'd have none of that, and nipped at a few of the mysid, I think taking some of the tips with them.
