Elegance VS Frogspawn

My elegance has not been doing good the last few weeks. It is close to my ever growing frogspawn. The elegance has not really opened up, and has stubby tenticles. Looks nothing like my avatar anymore. Is it possible that the frogspawn and the elegance are having some chemical warfare? Btw it is an Aussie not Indy elegance.

Usually elegance, torch, and frogspawn corals are all fine in close proximaty to each other, but I've only kept the indo corals, not the aussie versions. The torches are usually the nastiest of the group. The stubby tentacles normally indicate either excessive light or excessive water current. Have you moved it's position lately or changed out your bulbs? If the frogspawn is stinging the elegance, you should see something similar to like a white burn mark on the elegance. Frogspawns and torches can have some really long sweeper tentacles, so the sting may not necessarily be on the side closest to the frogspawn.

From my experience the elegance have one of the strongest sting of all the euphylia. How long was the elegance in the tank prior to the frogspawn?

I did move it but that was because he looked the same in his previous spot. He doesnt have a lot of flow where he is at now. I am moving this weekend so i will move him to a different spot.
