You are fine, the firefish is soo passive. The shrimp should be fine also, your only problem is the lid. I would make a mesh lid for that tank or you could have some dry fish.

Agreed. With this massive "rimless" craze, I cringe when I see people add magnificent fish to such tanks, especially smaller ones. We have NO IDEA what makes fish just, and whatever it is, is surely amplified in a smaller tank. It was suck massively to lose any fish, but a premier fish such as a carmabi (or pair of them!) to jumping for an aesthetic novelty.
