Elos Systems

Try this on for size. The smallest system which includes overflow, sump, all connections, stand and I think lighting is 39 gallons and sells in Ca for 2,100. I shudder to think what they are getting for their 80 or larger. Very nice equipment but pricey even with heavy shipping cost from Italy. That said, I am checking out at Medusa in W. La. Anyone have experience with these systems?

All systems come with:
stand
tank with overflow
all pumbing and connections
Our Sump with built in top off reservoir and our top off controller with pump
Our NS skimmer with eheim pump
Eheim return pump
Lighting is not included.

At the moment Medusa only has filtra setups which is our line that has an internal filter and no Sump or overflow. These tanks are primarily used for LPS, Fish only or freshwater setups. They will have a system next week. Ok, I just wanted to clarify that, let me know how you like Medusa. I will be down there next weekend.

Check out our elos usa sponsor forum and it has the address of Medusa LA, our socal dealer. Also note that he will not have the system line until the middle of next week.

I spent Saturday pricing systems that include everthing that Jesse lists as part of the Elos system and given quality and shipping etc, the Elos system prices out as competitive particularly when you look at quality, inovation etc.

as an addition to my lasr post and based upon Jesse's post, I am holding on on going to Medusa until they have the external system set up. I might also add that I have had contact with Fliger in AZ who has I believe has a system in the area of maybe 120 gallons and has been very happy.
