Elysia Clarki Eggs

Yesterday i saw in my nano reef a spiral gel attached to the rear glass.
After a closer look i found out that was eggs inside the gel.
I took a portion of it and placed it on the refugium and another portion in a hatchery placed again in the refugium.
Is there any case that i have damaged the eggs?
I would also like to know how long will take for the eggs of elysia clarki to hatch.
Unfortunately i have no pic to post at the moment.
