What does everyone think of them? I have a small amount of random bubble algea and they are the only things that I know of eating it. Are they reef safe? I have heard conflicting reports.
Mine hasn't done anything to my corals that I have noticed. It might have eaten bubble algae, I dont know. I would just recommend getting your hands wet and picking it off VERY carefully.
I have them in all of my customers tanks, they are awesome at clearing out valonia (bubble coral) Ive also never had problems with them except for getting clumsy and knocking over frags constantly.
Mine, a female, won't touch my ample supply of vallonia. The big Mexican turbo snails at least knock it off the rocks. Mine had rather pick at the coralline.
