emeralds eat Shrooms?

I just bought 2 Emerald Crabs and 2 days after all my mushrooms disappeared?? do you think they would eat them? I had a couple of green mushrooms...

I wouldn't put it past the little buggers. Mine ate a whole stand of yellow polyps in 2 days and ive read a million posts of others with similar experiences. I dont care what anyone says, emeralds are not reef safe and will eat corals when the mood hits them.

Mine have been hitting on my Zoo's, and only the nice ones!

How would I go about catching them.

Man I dont know why so many people on this board said they are fine they are destroying my TANK!!

I loveD mine. Until they got so dang big and started popping my polyps off one by one. Moved them over to my 35 with no "fun" things. There isn't much for them to distroy in that tank.

Think it's hit or miss. They didn't bother anything while my alge was out of control, but once that was gone they went after everything.

had a 4" rock of anthelia mowed down and can't think of anything else besides the emeralds that would have messed with them.

I was considering an emerald and am not any longer. I like my zoo's too much!

I have a porcelain crab that is cooler looking.

One of mine started picking at my zoos, so I kicked him out. I still have the find the other one that is in the tank somewhere.
