EMERGENCY: Feather Duster

I needed to move my feather duster (first one) because my colt leather corral was overtaking it. I went to pick it up, and the whole thing popped right out of the back of the tube! The worm is now sitting there at the bottom of the tank!!! What do I do?

Stick it in some rockwork with little flow and make sure it is well protected by the rocks, as fish and crabs will try to munch on the worm, thinking that it is dying. It will take quite a bit of time, as in several months, but the casing should grow back.

I tried moving one of my feather dusters that had wedged itself pretty good between two pieces of lr. Well I snatched his coat and his hat right off of him. :eek2: Rather than kill it by continuing to mess with it and risk an ammonia spike, I decided to leave it alone and keep an eye on it. It took a few weeks, but it finally got a new coat and hat. I think it ordered it online from Marine Depot Live. As "thehedge" says move it to someplace protected if you can. Keep tabs on your NH4 and watch it.
