today i changed my CC to sand, and its all cloudy, i tried to make not cloudy, by pouri nit over a trash bag slowly gallon by gallon, but my dad decided to pour a 5 gallon bucket in whicle i was in the other room, i would have been fine too, ight now my fish are in a rubbermaid tub, which is losing temp fast, adn some corals are in there too, but they are all ope, im putting in wamr water, and i have 2 fish in a 10gallon, what should i do wiht my corals and fish, iwll they livei n the tank wiht sand?

the sand will settle, it will probably take a few days to go totally back to normal. Also take a turkey baster and every few hours or so blow off all the rocks. I would think after it settles a little the fish and corals would be fine.
Good Luck

well, how clowdy is it? If it is so bad that you cant see anything I would probably wait an hour, BUT ONLY IF the fish are comfortable and okay, if they are then I would put them back in. Again good luck, and ask any questions you need!

the sand is settleing, you can see new layers on the bottom, i haev all snails, crabs, 2 fish (2 2 dollar damsels that normally go in there anyways that can easily be replaced) and a serpent star, they are all moving around, as the for fish, idk ill tell you in 3 days once its clear enugh to see.

in my crappy nasty dirty 10 gallon, the water quality is ok, a little nitrates/ammonia, barely deterctable, i haev my 22 fave fish in there, 2 corals, and my 30 inch pc light balancing over it

in the tubn i have 2 fish, pretty hardy, the pseudo try to jump out sometimes, but the water is low enough he cant, i havea powerhead and a light, and im trying to keep the temp as stabl a s possible, no guarentews once i fall asleep though, ill try to find a way to drip in hot water
, but prolly not, if they die, oh well i learned my lesson, and i was trying to get rid or the 10 gallon anyways, it leaks a little its from the 80s

but so far my fish and corals are good in the 10, the yellow plyps are opening up, and the xenia ia open

wish me luck

Yes, good luck. If I were you though I would just blow all the rocks off periodicly and but the fish in in a few hours, I think it will be a lot eaiser on them to be in a balanced tank, also it shouldnt be to bad for them, my tank gets pretty cloudy when I blow off all my rock, they are fine with it. Also temp drops can be pretty stressful on fish and I would be worried about the pseudo jumping. But anyways good luck, keep me posted!
