Emergency!!!

I came home tonight and I see a ton of the little red bug things in the tank. Probably about 100 of them. I have no idea what they are, but they are alive because they are in a slow moving corner of my tank (my skimmer just crapped out) and they dash quickly when they come in contact with each other. I tried taking a pic but there are tough to see on camera. Please help!

It looks like my puffer is trying to shake something off of him when he is around them.

I don't know what to do. My puffer seems like he is trying to get out of the tank. Please help! I can't even set up a QT tank because my skimmer is crapped out and I don't want to add the HOB refugiumg because it's from this tank.

Some are swimming, and some are on the glass. It looks like a tiny red/pink dot. The ones on the glass seem to have 10/12 little extremeties, while the swimming ones only seem to have on tail.

They don't look like any pods that I have seen. Please HELP!

Here's a poor quality pic:

They are not flatworms. They are a small round shape, with very thin extremeties. The good news is my puffer still at when fed so maybe they are not all that harmful. Also, I moved one of the powerheads to make up for the stagnant water where my crapped out protein skimmer would return. I will see what happens.

Hmm, similar looking, but the ones in the pic look yellow, mine are definitely red. Also, it's not a reef tank so I doubt it is the same. Thank you though. As of right now my puffer seems okay, and I don't see to many of them. Now my main concern is trying to cool the tank. Thanks.
