Emp ANgelfish changing

As stated i have an emperor angelfish about 4 in or so and i believe that he is starting to change. Around his mougth and the top of his body hes starting to get white. But my question is all over his body between his circles and stripes he is also getting lighter. I know its not ich or anything like that. I was just curious if he kind of fades out of his juvi colors and then his adult colors come on. I saw a pic of one changing on saltwater fish .com but its obviously way more advanced than mine is so i dont really know. Just wanted some statements from all you angelfish owners

Thanks beautiful fish. I see some scattered faded spots on some of the fish my wife swears up and down that the cleaner shrimp is causing these markings anyone else think so? I just think its the fish changing it swims around fine and eats like a pig

A couple of white blotches - about the size of a fish scale is often where some slime has rubbed off - often incurred rubbing against rocks when chasing / being chased.

Unless he is ocnstantly covered in them, i wouldn't worry about it. It may or may not be a pre-cursor to him changing...... no way to know without pics.
