Emperor angel blotchy/patchy

I have had an emperor angel for two years. No new fish since it was added and tank has also been disease free.

The emperor has recently developed white patches where skin has discolored. It is eating healthily, still "king of tank" and not showing any breathing or swimming issues.

Water parameters fine and all other fish are very healthy.

Any thoughts?

My old mean emperor gets scuffed up chasing smaller fish into holes where he can't fit. Even though your picture is a little blurry, it looks like the same thing. Are they mostly in the front? Mine gets better or gets different ones in a day or two.
