Endcapless

Hey all. I don't post much here, usually hangin out in the nano forum. I put together a 20G mostly all DIY. All that is left is the lights. I want to run VHO, but is there a way to install a retro kit without the endcaps? I don't have the room in my canopy to use them. Do I just hardwire the bulbs to the wires? I seem to recall someone doing it, but I don't know where to look. Thanks for any help.

you could use 'gator clips and be sure to put heat-shrink tubing around the ends so that nothing but the pin can touch the clips.

Use blue wire splices and trim 'em to fit. Works like a charm.
