Engineer Goby and feeding...

I rescued two fish last week from horrible conditions and the clownfish eats like a hog, but the goby will not eat at all. My engineer goby was never interested in eating if he didn't have a "safe spot" that he had created. Maybe in the quarantine tank, since I'm assuming it has no rock or sand, add a 7-8 inch piece of 3/4 inch pvc pipe with some 90 degree elbows on at least one end for him to hang out in and see if he gets a little more comfortable. Then drop some food near one end of it? Worth a shot.

Yep that's exactly what I have done.. I have some live rock in there and made him a hiding place. he was in it last night but didn't eat again. I'll try tonight with some Mysis shrimp..
