enough flow

i have a red sea max s 500 for my sps tank, i have added a vertex 180 skimmer and pacsun led t5 combo light. do you guys think that i have enough flow. i have also added a mp60 return pump is 2400 gph and 3 530 gph pumps for additional flow

What are tank dimensions? Also, flow is pretty subjective so not sure if you'll find an explicit answer. An Mp40 sounds more logical unless the tank is 6 or more feet long but you can always turn down the 60.

Just don't blow the corals skin off with it.

Your corals can't do math. They don't understand LPH or GPH. What they do understand is alternating flow and high enough current to make most LPS or anemones unhappy.

I have been keeping SPS for as long as you could buy ugly brown frags that nobody knew what to do with. What I have learned is that Acros that show polyp extension are happy. When Monti's that most people never see the polyps on have polyps standing up and waving in the current they're happy.

There's a Sunset Monti on the bottom of this shot. I had it in that position for a month to acclimate it. It's now half way up the tank and has huge polyp extension compared to when it was in lower flow. The difference in numbers I couldn't being to tell you.

The blue torte frag middle left in this shot has tripped in size since I moved it to stronger flow, same PAR.

Since I made the SPS happy with the increased flow the RBTA in the middle only comes out half as far as he is in this shot.

It's all trial and error. Look at the corals not the numbers.
