enough flow?

I am going to have a 120g with 2 600 gph rated overflows flowing to a 1200 gph pump and stocking sps corals should I drill a closed loop for more movement? I really don't want to put powerheads in tank wife has problem with them in current tank suggestions?

Is this going to be a FO, FOWLR, or reef tank?

IMO youd be better off with the closed loop for the extra flow, but depending on what your keeping you might be able to get away with it

It will be reef holding sps corals with a few large Reef friedly fish

He said he's keeping SPS.

He's going to need either a) a closed loop or b) powerheads. ~8x turnover is not sufficient for SPS.

I guess a couple of small Powerheads hiddin behind live rock wouldn't be a problem bout maybe i can take it to lfs were I bought It to have them drill me some holes it the back if so how many and were
