I posted this in the filtration forum but i thought id ask the SPS keepers of reef central what they thought.

Ok. I have a question about flow in my tank. Im keeping pretty much all SPS and the dimensions of my tank are 36"x15"x24" LxWxH. I have a Mag 9.5 as a return running thru a SCWD that i calculated to be about 600 or so GPH. As for powerheads ive got 2 SEIO 620s. Does this sound like enough flow for my tank?

also. How should i have the pumps situated in the tank to work the best. like how should they be facing? Right now the return pump outlets both face at an angle down to go across the front of my rockwork. the seios are on the sides pretty much blowing straight across.

any advice would be great. Thanks

Dan

I'm almost that size 36X18X24 and I have 2 1500's. At this time I still have things like some zenia, anthelia, etc. and they are all very happy still although they're slowly going to my other tank as time and motivation permit.

I'm in a similar situation with my 58G. I was told to upgrade my Seio 620's a step up or two...Would 1100's or 1500's blow over stuff and stir sand?
