enough light for zoas

It can but I doubt u will get the best color or fastest growth out of them. Someone correct me if im wrong

Only have 2 Zoas so not sure I should comment. Mine are on the very bottom and doing well. After being moved several times up and down they seem to like this the best with moderate flow. I also have a few in my sump with some Palys under just a CFL bulb and they seem to be doing fine.

What lighting do you have them growing under in your DT?

4 bulb T5's and tank is 20" deep.

You may be able to get away with throwing a stunner strip on there, but if you want growth, you are gonna need more. I have mine growing in an 8 gallon nano under a 16 watt LED light. Good growth and great color. Should be able to find something for them, but if you end up wanting more corals of different varieties, you will need a better light.

If you want decent growth I would go with a small LED light, just make sure it is not to powerful. PC light is ok but you won't get great color from it. I personally think zoa's look best under T5 or a really nice LED imo.
