Enough light or too much?

Would a aqualight elite metal halide/compact flourenscent 692 watt light be enough light to grow some acropora corals if placed high enough in my 75g tank? I hear too much light is bad for corals as well. How much is too much? I know that 2-3 watts per gallon for freshwater plants is ideal. I'm new to the reef.

what are the wattage on the mh's? I am assuming 250's in which case you will have enough but not too much lighting for acros

Its says 2-250's and 2 96watt square pin base. So i'm assuming the vho are the 250's yes?

2-250's are the metal halide bulbs and the 2 96watts are the power compact fluorescent lights, there are no VHOs in the one you are speaking of
