enough light?

So I decided to built my own lights.Was going with 8 54watt t5ho but can only get 6 under the canopy.will that be enough light for sps or softs only?

What's the dimensions of the tank?

It is a 6' 125 gal. Can't Remember but think it is 18" wide,18"-21" deep

What kind of reflectors are you using?

There's a big difference in output depending on the type.

That's a good point. Individual reflectors would be the way to go. Some of those T5 fixtures put out a lot more PAR than others so it's definitely something to consider.

I used individual reflectors.but still is only 324 watts which is less then 3 watts per gallon.Thanks for the help.
