Enough lighting for clam and RBA?

I have a aquatics t5 fixture with 4-54 bulbs and a 250watt metal halide on a 90 gallon. My question is will it be enough light to keep a clam and a RBA and some other corals that require high lighting. If not would one 400 watt metal halide be overkill and would it generate alot more heat? Thanks
