Enough Support

I am setting up a 180 gallon. I bought the tank used on the LetGo app. I bought my sump first. Its too big to fit through any openings. The center braces are nailed from above and below. I made a hole on the left site and will be putting in a door.

I didn't think about this until after I made the cut. Do I still have enough support? The stand is made of oak, no 2x4's. You can see the thickness of the walls in the background.

Is the stand made of 3/4" 0ak wood only?
In a 180 gallon tank water alone will weigh 1,440 pounds that's not including the tank sand rock. I have a 150 gallon and total weight is around 2,100 pounds. If that stand is only 3/4" oak wood I would not put that much weight on it.

Lol store bought 220 stands are made of particle board, 3/4" oak ply is more then adequate for a 180...

My only concern is the lack of ply along the bottom of the door openings... the legs are going to rack if they aren't securely fastened to the bottom of the stand

I can add a 2x4 on each side of the hole. This is not the pine stand. Solid oak custom stand. It’s really heavy.

If it’s solid oak I doubt you have anything to worry about. Adding 2x4” in the corner will give you that extra piece of mind, so do it.
