epoxy giving way on frag---what to do?

I'm new to frags. I have a nice little single-stick ac. cerealis frag bonded to a bit of rock that's chalky and has cast the bond. The frag is leaning. It's half stuck, half not. Should I: a) leave it alone until tomorrow, hoping it won't fall (6 inches) to the sand: tomorrow I can get some epoxy and fix it---I have none in house. b)take it and its rock down to sand level and hope it doesn't fall apart when I touch it c) break it all the way off the base and try to stick it upright in the sand or in some hole in the rock? How annoyed is it likely to get from handling? Acropora is new to me.

quite with the epoxy and just get some gel superglue. put a pea sized glob on the frag then insert into tank and puch into or onto rock, hold it there for a few seconds and away you go. i have tried epoxy and found that it just doesnt work and when you get enough to make it work it looks horrible.

and as for what to do with it, just leave it alone and hope, most acros get a little mad when you touch them but usually show lopys extension withing a hour or so.

Thanks---I'm not familiar with the bonding materials and can't figure how much elasticity is involved, but it's sure leaning in the current. Here's hoping it hangs in. I can get to the LFS tomorrow morning and I'll take your recommendation with gratitude.

You can run out to target walmart grocery store right now and pick up super glue gel. No need to wait for tomorrow nor the LFS. I'd pull it off right now and glue it back down.

Can I glue the bottom-most bowl part of my monti frag?
I tried gluing the edge where it's broken, and there's not enough surface area on the edge to hold it.

in regards to your monti. i'm assuming its a cap, you can just load up the super glue gel. if you have any epoxy, i've found that you can just fold the epoxy around an edge and the monti will quickly grow out and over the edge where it is covered (by quickly, i'm talking about 2 weeks or so)

Another option is to mix epoxy with super glue gel. I've found this does nicely with any pieces that refuse to stay where I tell them.

The ac. cerealis is now upright and doing fine. I'm amazed at this glue-stuff. Much easier than I'd have thought. Thank you, everyone.
