Epoxy...

The whole point of the thread was to show how it can be used to build barriers or smother encroaching corals. That Leptastrea is a MONSTER! If I don't do this on a regular basis, it would make short order of the other beautiful corals around it.

I think he's trying to say looking at the original start post, its just a picture. (titled) epoxy. The more unseasoned reefer or newbie wouldn't know the context or what your trying to convey.

I guess if there was context like your second post on the thread then it would make sense

This post is to show how EPOXY can be used to build barriers or smother encroaching corals. CASE IN POINT, This Leptastrea pictured is a MONSTER! If I don't do this on a regular basis, it would make short order of the other beautiful corals around it.
If this method is not used consistently then the leptastrea would go wild on the rock, encroach and take over that section there fore killing other corals.

Hope that helps...

I do the same in regards to very invasive palys/protopalys, I kalk paste them or if I have various montiporas fighting, I put a thick kalk paste to act like a barrier where there is a invisible wall of the rock where non can grow.
