Equipment/husbandry advice?

I agree! One repsonse to questions posted that I hate - 'Google is a wonderful tool' To me this defeats the purpose of a community forum that helps each other out based on experience. Posts are made to seek advice from experienced reefers.

Of course you are right, anyone with a question shouldn't be expected to ever have to invest 5 minutes of their own time to do even the least amount of research to discover if the question they have has been asked and answered 100's of times. Instead they should ask their question and expect others to spend the five minutes to do the search for them, validate the source, and type out the answer that they probably won't take the time to read; or in the case of advise, follow.

Sorry for showing the other side of the coin.

I agree with you if that is the case. Everyone should do research on their own. The google response for uncommon questions in which the poster did do research is what I was referring to.
