ER135 Replace Sedra, or go Bubble Blaster?

I'm currently running a EuroReef CS135 on my 150gal mixed reef. The Sedra 5000 crapped out and I'm debating whether or not to get a new one, or try the Bubble Blaster 3000. The reason I question switching pumps, is to try and squeeze some more performance out of the skimmer (if possible). I've also debated stepping up to a slightly larger skimmer altogether, but the EuroReef has been a reliable workhorse and I'd hate to shell out the extra cash if I don't have to. I'm hoping some of you skimmer gurus out there, can point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance!

BB 3000 would be too much pump for the 135 body, if you did try the a BB pump the 2000 would be a better fit

We have a lot of Sedra skimmer pumps at work (KSP-3500), and the number of non-working pumps (or pumps needing replacement impellers) we have is, in my mind, unacceptable. I'd go with a different brand.

Thank you for the input. The Sedra has been a great pump for the past five years. I took my skimmer out to give everything a thorough vinegar and water bath and when I plugged the pump in, it gave me a jolt when I reached in the bucket to help get it started. The BB 2000 seems like a good fit, but the Ecoplus looks nice too. Decisions, decisions. :-)
