Erectus X Reidi HYBRID?!

Yes, there were a few places receiving the fry from an experimental breeding program and I think there were already some posts here from those who purchased them.

Yes, I saw them on seahorsesource a while ago but the old budget would not allow me to purchase :) Now, liveaquaria has them, but at a higher price.
Don't get me wrong, I love liveaquaria, but I wonder where they got them! :)

I believe they all originated from the same experimental/research program.
They did, but the broods were split in half and raised in two different facilities. In the end we found that the fry were slightly more challenging than H. erectus but many times easier than H. reidi. They can take on the appearance of either species. They may show lines or spots. Colors have a tendency to be brighter than H. erectus. Hardiness appears to on par with H. erectus.

Wow it sounds like a real uberpony. I may have to re-enter the world of seahorses and transform my post-chiller refugium into a seahorse system :)
