I bought a softie coral the other day, it was in a tank with a bunch of corals in it. When I get it home and put it in the tank I look at the rock it was attached to and it has what appears to be a single bud of a black tube coral.
I feed my fish cyclopeeze daily, will the tube coral eat this? Right now I dose with Calcium, Strontium and Iodine, do I need anything else for this?
Also my tank has basically Zoos, a leather, a mushroom and a candy cane coral. Will the black tube coral have any adverse chemical effects on these as I know some are incompatible.
I'd like to try and keep it alive if I can so any advice would be helpful.
