Error Message when launching Aquanotes

After enabling the web server in a aquanotes 3.0, I started getting the above error message when I try and launch the program. I am able to connect via the web server, but not directly into the program.
 
I did a windows system restore to a point before I turned on the web server and now I have access to Aquanotes! What should I do to get Aquanotes and the web server up and running?

On a side note, I don't have the computer hooked up to a monitor keyboard or mouse. I connect through remote desktop. This make some things a little scary. I didn't know how the restore would do on a remote desktop connection but it worked!
 
I got the exact same issue...I was going to call and talk to Curt but they are closed till the 10th.

Anybody else???
 
For AquaNotes support please email your authorization code (12 digits) to support@neptunesys.com, and I'll give you instructions on how to correct this problem. The code can be found on the piece of paper included w/ the CD or in the help->about AquaNotes window. BTW, AquaNotes does indeed work with windows XP.

I have Aquanotes 3.0 working just fine on Windows XP SP2.
It is a bit tricky to get the identities set correctly with IIS, however the techdoc from the link above had me fixed up with only minimal frustration.
