Eshopps Curve Refugium light

Looking to see if anyone here is using it or did use it. Please share your thoughts and experience. I don't mind about the price as long as it works and strong enough to grow macroalgae. My plan is to use one of chambers in my AIO Innovative Marine Fusion 40 as a refugium and I see this light as the perfect solution for my need as I can just install it right above the chamber.

This is something I have strongly considered multiple times ... Would love to see if anybody has good growth experience with it . It's small enough where I had thought about putting it on a HOB ( probably will get roasted for that ) .

Nice shape. But of course, white light is very weak photosynthetically compared to red, or red+blue. Also, the 3 LEDs are probably running at 2 watts each = 6 total watts. So this light would probably best be considered for viewing your sump, instead of growing macros.

Sorry, but this is BS - this light (I have a pair) grows Chaetomorpha very well in both of my Eshopps 3rd Gen refugium sumps under my 40B's, and they have now for quite a while. One fixture is not sufficient for a very large area, but for smaller areas (probablu up to 12"x12") it is more than enough, plus it has a nice form factor that doesn't take up much space.

While a mix of red and blue diodes grow macros very well, so does a moderate Kelvin temp. white from 5000-6500K, and white lights have grown macros very well for quite a while now. Just because you don't sell them doesn't mean they don't work.

You will have to define "very weak" - how much worse is it really? Of course, feel free to mention that the white diodes in use have quite a bit of blue spectrum in them...
