Eshopps frag rack acrylic safe?

Are the acryclic eshopps frag racks with the magnets safe for an acrylic tank? Don't want any scratches

Yes, but dont slide it on the acylic like I did, hold the rack and remove the outer magnets reposition and then replace the magnets. Some of the worst scratches on my plastic box are from the frag racks.

Hmm okay. Maybe I'll just put them in the sand. When I used it on the old tank, the kids couldn't resist grabbing the magnets. Sounds like a recipe for disaster.

Anyone know of the small magnets that go on the outside are safe to submerse? I want to center the rack in my tank, but that puts the magnets in my overflow.

Check to make sure the magnet are not starting to rust. I prefer the ones from bulk reef because the magnets are epoxy coated and very strong.
