Eshopps PSK-75 impeller

Hi all,

I just found that the impeller on my Eshopps PSK-75h skimmer (older model) is not working. One of the white plastic caps that covers the magnet sheered off, and although I tried to epoxy it back in place it makes an awful chattering while the pump is running. This skimmer is an older model, I can't find any label on the pump itself but it looks like an Atman pump rather than the newer Sicce pump.

I am trying to think through the possible solutions to get my skimmer back online. Here are a few possibilities and questions I have along the way:

1. Will the new Sicce pump fit onto the older fittings for attaching the pump?

2. Do the Eshopps replacement impellers fit my Atman pump? This doesn't look like my needle wheel and I am afraid that the pins on the might be too long.

3. Should I instead get an impeller for an Atman pump from Amazon?

4. Will I be able to swap the pump out if I opt to replace the entire pump? I am concerned because the fitting on the top of my pump that connects to the reactor chamber seems to be PVC welded on.

5. Should I just toss the stupid thing and get a new skimmer altogether.

Thanks for the help!
