Eshopps PSK100H Skimmer

I've had this skimmer for a few months and it's been working pretty well, when dialed-in properly. The recurring issue that I have is keeping it stable. What I mean: if I get the skimmer producing bubbles at the next of the skimmer (where it should be, I believe), it will invariably start to rise higher and higher, until the point that it will overflow if I don't watch it.

I've tried altering the height of the skimmer. I've tried adjusting the flow. Right now it's making a lot of bubbles and flowing too much water, even at the "minimal" flow adjustment level. Right now it's barely under the top of the cup. While it's working well and producing skimmate, it's going to start to overflow again.

Any ideas? This is a brand new skimmer.

Well, I solved my issue. After tinkering with all possible adjustments, I had a Eureka moment. I didn't disclose this in my original post because I didn't think it was relevant, but it is: I had attached a piece of filter floss to the outflow of the skimmer in an effort to reduce the microbubbles. I hadn't had issues with this set-up before, but I guess the skimmer is breaking-in and producing more flow now. Well, I removed the floss and the water level instantly went way down. Now I can control the flow and get it right where I want it. Hope this helps someone.
