ETSS Evo Setup...

I have an ETSS Evo 750 that I can't figure out for the life of me how to set up...i got the skimmer in a "lot" so I don't have any instructions or anything, just the skimmer and the feeding pump for it.
I've played with it but can never seem to get it to skim...all I get is either no bubbles in the collection cup or a collection cup that would need to be emptied every hour....not to mention it would drain my tank!

Any help is always a plus!

What is your pump? If you have a strong pump, ETSS will create a lot of bubbles. Do you have a gate value on the air intake? I'd recommend one if you have a strong pump.

Yeah I have a mag 24 i believe on it. And There is a gate valve on it aswell...

You have a gate value on the air intake, or the skimmer? Ideally, you'd want one on the air intake.

There is a gate valve on the outflow of the skimmer, nothing on the inflow except the pump. Is it supposed to be in In-sump? Because I heard they were more effective as out of the sump....

Nothing on the inflow.Pressure rated pump is required.
Insump works great as long as the sump water level is below gate valve control knob.Any higher creates to much back pressure.
