This is my original skimmer for my 210 gal, it has serve me well but now it is time to upgrade. These are the Specs.
CS 8-3 - 8 in diameter | 30 in tall | 11" x 13½" footprint | 1 x 5000 Sedra pumps
In addition the skimmer has the following upgrades
Gate valve modification, I added a gate valve/reverse durso modification to the outlet of my Euro-reef CS 6-2 protein skimmer so that it's easy to regulate the wetness of the skimmate with the gate valve. More importantly, the modification removes the need for a sponge or some other item to diffuse the flow from the output. The problem with these diffusers is that they needed to be periodically cleaned, so this is one last chore for me to perform with the tank. This modification also quiets the outflow of the skimmer where there was a splashing noise before.
Skimmate cup drain, This was also a great add on as it allowed me to have more piece of mind and time between cleaning, the cup was fitted wit a small 1/2" bulkhead and fittings that allowed me to direct the scum into a drain, you can also just have it close as it comes with a valve.
Enkamat® needle wheel Modification, I learned of this Mod through RC's Abengochea and decided to try it, I was surprised to see that the skimmer actually increased the production of scum.
The Skimmer is perfect shape and has no scratches or cracks or anything, It has a little of coraline growth on the top part of the body as it always received light from the refugium but it doesn't affect the performance in any way.
It is currently running in my tank and you are welcome to come see it.
For those of you who I know going to ask for a picture, it is very hard to take a pic of my skimmer were it is in the sump but this is a picture of the same skimmer I am selling, this is one is a new one with out the gate valve mod and the drain on the cup, but you get point
