Euro-Reef malfunction

I have a Euro-Reef skimmer that worked fine for the first few months, then the skim-mate became really then. In fact, the cup fills up in about 5 minutes. The adjustment tube started out at the lowest position. Since the problem started I have raised the tube about 1 1/2 inches. Didn't seem to help that much. Any suggestions?

Keep the riser tube all the way down and just let the collection cup fill up. Then just keep dumping out the wet skimmate. Eventually this will get rid of whatever is in your water that is making it foam up and fill the cup in 5 minutes. This is most likely being caused by something in your water that you are adding.

Raising the tube will make it wetter. Move it down. Have you cleaned the pump? A dirty pump, clogged airline or venturi will cause skimming problems.
