What's the difference in the CS,RS,and RC...is one better the the other..

I think the CS are the older models and the RS is just the basic euro reef. RC is the recirc model i believe.

CS line is the higher quality line. Its machine welded, make with better acrylic and feels really sturdy. The RS is the one right below it which works fine but just made a little cheaper. The RC line is just recirculated and needs a different pump or direct feed from the overflow.

RS and CS are functionally the same, but the CS had welded joints instead of glued. The CS line has been discontinued. The RS are the in sump non recirculation models. The RC are recirculating skimmers. They also come with a gate valve instead of a riser tube, welded construction, and Eheim pumps on the RC180 and up. All RS/CS/RC are the same cell cast acrylic construction.

thats something I was worried about is that I have a Cs250 and my LFS was cleaning a RC model and the bottom fell off from the hot water....lol I guess they use hot glue on them.....
