Euro reef skimmer.

My Euro reef skimmer doesnt seem to be skimming anything, it has been hooked up in my sump for 3 years. It works well until I took it out of the tank and cleaned it up last week. It hasnt really pulled out anything can you guys give me some help.

Might just need time to reslime and start producing skimmate.

I took the skimmer apart and sprayed water over it and that was it. I don't see a lot of small air bubbles swirling around the tube anymore, just a few. The level of air bubbles/water inside the skimmer is the way down below the waste container. Normally, I'd see the level of air bubbles/water rise about 2 inch. Please help.

Check the air supply hose it may have become clogged...also, if you took the pump apart make sure you seated the impellar properly. HTH

Thanks for the advice. I checked the air supply hose, It was logged inside below the air tube. I cleaned it up with a sharp metal stick and the skimmer works well.
